Was looking at the summary sheet that man4uni maintains in February and march timelines thread. Looks like the march 2nd week applicants have started getting their approval letters.

The average time that it takes to get the approval letters from the application date (based on feb and march thread) is 51 days so mathematically we should start getting some approval news on this thread after the 21st of May which is 2 weeks from now...Impatient me...cannot wait!!!

got caught up with the fee increase deadline but sent the new payment details for the £32 to make up the difference. that still hasn't been debited from my account

I was hoping we would be the exception to the rule & get a super quick turnaround time (I am an eternal optermist) but as we are a month into our application process I have come to the conclusion that we did not land up on the desk of an over enthusiastic employee

The waiting is the absolute worst. I have also noticed that the Feb/March approval letters are taking about 10 days to be received after they have been issued. So even though technically March applicants should start getting approvals mid May I think our letters will only start arriving beginning of June (this doesn't stop me living in hope that every day the postman will arrive with a VIP letter )

All the bank holidays (2 in April & 2 in May) will also slow our applications down by an additional 4 working days

I know it’s way too early to enquire about my application status but was bored this afternoon and rang up HO (patient is not my strong point). I thought I’d take my chance as my NCS office said the processing time is about 4-6 weeks.

I managed to get through after trying several time.. But be warned- they won’t do much for you. They simply said their service standard is 6 months therefore I shouldn’t be ringing before October..

I tried to ask them whether at least my application is with a case worker but they won’t tell me that either…
They said they’re having lots of problems with people ringing up as they know someone whose application was approved quickly… (that is me..)

Thought I’d share this in case any of you are as impatient as me!!!
