Guys, I really don't understand... got this letter on the 31/03, sent reply back on 01/04 and did not hear from HO since then. They got my response on 2/04 - I tracked it. I thought they meant that certificate would be ready in 7 working days from 27/03, but 14 have passed and still nothing..... Did they mean it that they will issue certificate in 7 days, or is it just a standard request and then case will collect dust for some more time?... :roll:

Sorry if this dashes your hopes - but the mention of 7 working days merely a cut off for your to submit the required information - at least that is how I would read the letter. I truly hope that I am wrong and your certificate is on the way tho' :)

what they meant that you have to respond them within 7 days, they didn't say they will respond you in 7 days

just thinking about it - it has technically been only 10 working days since 2nd april when it was delivered to HO. Assuming current 2nd class delivery, if they have kept their deadline and what youre reading is correct, you will get your certificate by end of this week :)

According to this response, checks are conducted first and then our applications are forwarded to the caseworkers.

Interesting extract:- So those who havent received the decision yet, in my opinion, is fair to assume, aren't through with checks yet.. Surprises me personally, as I have been through lot of the clearances there are under the sun :P :oops: Nevermind, no point trying to cook something when its HO is involved!
UKVI cases are created then checks requested. When applications are ready for a decision they are allocated to a caseworker in date order.
