I am the same situation I apply october 2019 and they ask me additional documents in September 2020 and sent still waiting for decision

Hi asad thank you and no they did not ask for my passport but they have asked for lots of other additional documents regarding myself my child nd my Partner which I have submitted almost everything.

Basically, i started my application in September 2019,then i was asked to provide DNA results in September 2020,which i submitted in November and got my stamp 4 on the 3rd December..

I wish everyone that is waiting Goodluck and Goodnews

I submitted my IBC application in the first week of August 2019 and no correspondence so far. Still waiting...

I am the same situation in September they ask me additional documents I sent get back to me saying we send your passport for verification could take some months this this process now one year complete since I apply

I did not get any reply except acknowledgement.i spoke with guy who is waiting for zambrano decision for 2 year .I do not know what to do.why are they taking so long time.

That's strange, and certainly worrisome.
I haven't been in that situation nor know anyone who has so I dont know how best to advise you but if it were me, I will reach out to them again till I receive some form of acknowledgement

That's insane if you ask me...they should have asked for that on the beginning...what a waste of time!!!

Resident unit 4 just waste people time
They ask DNA test when they don't find any excuse
So now your are almost there do DNA ASAP when you done DNA exect after with in 4 to 6 weeks you will get decision

Does the ruling of zambrano have anything to do with the relationship between the biological parents or is it just the role of the parent in the child's life??

But the reason I have to go for a DNA test is cause they say that the relationship with the other parent is not a subsisting relationship. Which is pathetic?!
