I received a letter today saying that I need my original degree certificate to satisfy the language requirement. I was surprised at this as I had provided the following as per the guidance
- Life in the UK pass certificate
- NARIC certificate on English language assessment of my degree
Anyone else had a similar experience?
Anyone I have sent out my degree certificate today and keeping my fingers crossed. In one way, I am happy that my case is being considered.

2nd Adviser= " possibly payment is not cleared" informed him payment was cleared almost 2 weeks ago, reply: " ah it can take 2 to 3 weeks from date of payment before letter is sent out, please wait for it"
3rd Adviser = " your application is on the system, but we don't send out acknowledgment letter if application is made via NCS, its only for postal applications".

There was a small goof up during my documents verification. I was applying for registering my daughter (form MN1 -- birth in UK) as well along with my naturalisation. In the reference and identify section one of the referees wrote as 'Son of Work Colleague' instead of 'Daughter of Work colleague'. The NCS coordinator called someone to check what needs to be done and i was asked to write in the additional comments section that it has been mentioned incorrectly. Hope it wont be a problem..however fingers crossed!!!
