Hi All,

I have attended the interview today. It was 10 mins video conferencing. She asked same standard questions as were asked from other people (Search other thread, questions are shared by many people).

At the end I asked about why am I called for interview as I have got very straight case with all documents. Interviewer said that "There is nothing wrong with my case or my documents, They have changed the process recently, They are calling many people now to know more details about them".

I asked about when can I expect the response and Interviewer said that It will take few weeks and I will receive a letter from HO.

Hope ur interview went well. My situation is very similar to urs. Applier my 2nd Tier 1 General extension on 22nd of January and got a interview letter on 10th Feb. I am still waiting for my interview date. Is ur interview in Sheffied ? For my extension documents I have provided my 12 months (1st Jan 2014 to 31st Dec 2014) personal statement, payslips, dividends, accountant letter with sales summaries and income details.

Do we need to take any business documents for interview ? I am planning to take last year business statements, invoices, company returns, company registration, VAT receipts etc.

Do they ask for any documents at the time of interview ? are the above mentioned business documents sufficient at the time of interview ?

Are they insisting on particular area like expenses, business income etc..Please share few.

Fingers crossed. Bit worried.

Do share your experiences of interviews. They have asked for the NINo document only. Was it all you guys has to produce or anything more ? or less?

I have been asked the same document (NINO). I was asked to send an email confirmation for the interview that's it. They wont accept any documents there. I was asked to attend my interview in Leeds vfs centre. Don't know how the interview will be ?

I have received my documents with 'Approval letter' in it. My interview was on 26th february, which means HO took 7 days after interview to process my application. I should receive BRP with in 7 days.

Hi All,

Hello Everyone ..

Thanks for sharing that you been asked to attend an interview .. I am also Tier 1 General extension requested in July 2014 but still waiting for their reply. I have not received any interview call so far but I would encourage everyone to share their information regarding the interview. Also let us know the outcome after the interview as well.

Its nearly 8 months ! Did you try to contact them(or email ) ?

I contacted them many times even I sent letters through the MP from my local council but they said they are doing some inter/external checks i.e. from local and government agencies .. thats all I got from them I even contacted them 06/03/15 but they said it is in progress..

Thanks for sharing the questions, I do believe now that all the questions are pretty much standard. My interview is scheduled day after tomorrow, on Friday.

Can you please tell me if they are looking for approximate numbers, in terms of annual salary, company profit, company expense and tax or over all. All of us do submit the management accounts, in case of self employed, so they should have the exact figures.

I have attended my interview today in VFS office london, it was for 18 to 20 minutes. Pretty much same questions as above, couple of other questions what they asked me as below.

Company annual income/turnover
Current client and previous client
All other questions are same as others.

If we answer fast they will ask you to repeat or slow down but they never ask you to give exact income/expenses/tax details... you can give close figures for income/expenses/business premise rent etc.
They said it will couple of weeks to process the application, lets hope for the best.

I applied on the 28th of January and had an interview on 13th of March. Its been 2 weeks today and no news. I did call in the contact centre today, the only status they can see is "in progress", as in the case officer has not taken a decision on the application as yet.
