hi fomar,
5th april was monday, 3rd & 4th were week off. So as usual they receive more appl. on monday. There could be a big leap next week as you see that the difference between 19th april and 5th apr. application is only 600. It seems there were very few appl. in 2nd & 3rd week of april.

There progress really looks satisfactory

below is the mail i got from HSMP team...

dear Applicant,
I would expect your application to take another 2-3 weeks.
We are currently processing cases numbered up to 016500.
I trust this answers your query.

Hi,

I speed posted my HSMP application on 10th April. I do not know when it reached HO or when money was deducted. Can anybody suggest me how to get Case number? Shall I write directly to HO for reference number?
Thank X

Hi Folks,

As per today's update(September 6, 2004), Home Office is currently
procession applicaitons received on April 13 2004.

Unfortunately LA Mike's file does not have anybody who has applied on these dates, hence we can not know the approximate reference no. If anybody knows any applicant around this date, could you get us the reference no.

Thanks,
Noddy.

Hi Reddy,
You can e-mail to HSMP for your reference no. I did the same to get my reference no.
By the way, HO is processing the applications received on the 13th April. You will be getting the reply from them very soon. Please let us know your progress.

Thanks and all the best.

I think its 1:2 ratio. For every 2 working days (for processing), they finish backlog of 1 day (of receipt). I have been tracking this for the past month or so and its turning out to be true. So you can almost predict the next update. When they will update the site on 13th Sept...you can expect to see the 'current processing' date of 16th April!

Therefore, people can workout their processing time accordingly. For May applicants like me, i guess its still couple of months more.

My application was delivered at 6 Sep, and my reference number is 0259xx. What will be the processing time estimation then?

Hi Mauhuur,
welcome to the pool. Currently HO is processing the applications received in mid April (ref no 17000). HO process around 50 to 60 application per working day. So there is a long way to go for you (at least 4 months).
Sit back and Relax.
Good Luck.

SBS.

The Home Office averages 33 applications processed per day (including weekends and holidays) your application will take a bit over 7 months to process. You can get a personalized estimate at the "Processing Times Estimator" on the spreadsheet at http://home.earthlink.net/~another_michael/hsmp.xls

Its like 5+3 ratio...
One week they process applications for 5 days and next week it will be for 3 days... So in 2 weeks time they are able to clear applications of 1 week..

I am surprised why they are not taking any concrete corrective actions to return to their normal processing time...

As per published minuted of last User Panel Meeting conducted on 29th April, 2004, next meeting due date is 15 th September, 2004...thats tomorrow :)

Can we expect some corrective decisions in tomorrow's meeting.... :?:
Fingers crossed as usual..

Just received the following reply from HO.

"Unfortunately, your application has not yet been processed as we are
currently working on applications received around the 20th April 2004. I
expect it will be at least 6 weeks before you receive our decision however,
this is subject to change. I apologise for the problems and delays you have experienced.

Work Permits (UK)"

So I guess the next update will be for 20th April, 2004....
