As far as the physical abuse is concerned, report it to the police - that's the only easy way to qualify to stay under the domestic violence concession. Next time it happens, call a copper in.

How about if i join the Army. Am anti war but never blame the soilders for the job they are asked to do. What happens if you join the army and how long is that process.

I am open to correction but I think that only Commonwealth citizens are permitted to join the British Army, and Zimbabwe is no longer a member of the Commonwealth.

Zimbabwe may no longer part of the Commonwealth (the instituition), however it's citizens are still considered Commonwealth Citizens in the eyes of British law.
