Tier 1 Rejected - Please advise

Maybe u should show on ur cover letter how ICFAI is listed. I mean the steps, thats what i am going to show in the Admin Review letter.

Or maybe in ur cover letter point out to the points calculator and highlight the state Uttarakhand ....

Dont give ur Bcom degree, i am not sure about it, but i have read it at places on this forum that they have not considered Bcom degree bcoz of the total education years not being 16. Bcom makes only 15.... it may not be true but its not worth the risk....

And if u have time then you should best wait for my case....once my admin review results come out....you will have a definite answer.....still better give IELTS ... cost hardly anything compared to the visa fee ....

The statements i have submitted are from 01/10/07 till the 06/09/08, however statements till the 10/08/09 are originals ( i mean delivered to me in the post by the bank) and the statements from 10/08/08 till the 06/09/08 are in two parts one from the 10/08/08 - 03/09/08 and another from the 03/09/08 - 06/09/08......they are stamped and signed by the bank on a running papper..............I am still wondering as to why was my application rejected and in the refusal letter it has been stated that the refusal is not on any General grounds.......Also if u can let me know that generally how long does it take for an Admin review!!!!!

Pal,

How long does is take for Admin Review is a million dollar question. There is no definite answer to it ... UNFORTUNATELY ...

I have applied for my Admin review today....and have my fingers crossed.

As for your case, in the review letter you can specify that the bank sends across statements to your address periodically (monthly etc). And as the last statement u needed to submit along with you application would have come after a while. You took the same from the bank and attached it.

Which category have u been rejected in? I am assuming maintenance funds, in this case the rules clearly say that the statement should not be more than 7 days old. It would have been good if u had submitted ur statements on the bank letter (stationery) stamped and signed for three months.

All that is past now, just apply for admin review, state the facts and ALL THE BEST ...

Hi Sumeets,

I am somewhat in the similar situation as yours.

I have claimed points for previous earnings for the period Sep 2007 to Aug 2008.

Submitted Original Bank statements for 11 months and Bank Statement collected from Branch for 12th month.

The final Bank statement was generated in Branch on the bank letter headed paper for the period 1st Aug 08 to 31st Aug 08,
shows all the transactions for the period,
signed and stamped by Branch Manager.

Do you think, there is a possibility of application being rejected because i submitted the last months bank statement taken from Branch ?

Since, I am maintaining enough balance in the account, I have not produced any letter from bank.

I have now received the latest bank statement at my residence, if i send it now, will it be of any help?

My EC has been rejected due to maintainance funds...the ECO has written that i had provided the statements till the 10/08/08 however i had submitted the statements till the 06/09/08 and my application date is the 08/09/08. The satements ranging from the 10/08/08 till the 06/09/08 were print outs taken from from the bank/branch and stamped/attested accordingly. Is it a possibility that the ECO has overlooked the statements and in the letter it has been mentioned that " the refusal is not on any general grounds".
Should i go for an Admin Review and how likely is it that the decision will be in my favour......also can some one let me know that how long does it take for an Appeal or an Admin Review..................

I have my Admin Review Letter and can definitely share it with you. But our cases are very different and i dont think it will be of much help to you. In any case, if you still want it....give me ur mail id and i will send it across.
