I was showing you the type of evidence they might expect from you. The guide tells you to check those sections for such examples. Ignore the section heading

Read the guide as a whole not in isolation :!: :!:
Assessing reasons for absences

You must check the reasons for any absences that the applicant has provided on
their application form or supporting documents to determine whether an absence
counts towards the 180 days.
You must check the person history on the case-working system to confirm that the
reasons provided for an absence are consistent with their immigration history, for
example, to confirm that a person undertaking research activity was employed in a
sponsored job in one of the listed occupation codes.
The applicant should provide evidence of absence for a permitted reason. There is
no specified evidence to demonstrate a reason for an absence, but examples of the
type of evidence
you might expect to see are set out in the sections below.
I repeat there is NO specific evidence required

Thanks for the response.

There is no specific evidence required. Does it mean do I have to provide any and/or a type of evidence for sure?

Sorry for repeating.

Can you please tell me, If the letter is not required what else can I show as evidence. I’ve seen in the document that I can submit payslip. But in that duration I think she got only smp pay. I am not sure that to provide as a evidence.

Can you please suggest what else can I use as evidence?

Thanks.

Yes as you can see in the guide. I cannot suggest anything as there is no specific requirement. Provide whatever you have

Can I just write covering letter by mentioning those dates and reason as just to visit family. Is that okay or not enough? I can’t think of anything else to provide evidence.

Can you please suggest.

Thanks

Thanks for the response Zimba.

Can you please tell me what happens if I don’t provide a letter or something else for the duration of her trip. Will they approve it because it’s only 90 days and that’s in her maternity or still definitely need some kind of evidence?

Can you please help. I am really in a weird situation. Sorry.

Sorry I cannot offer you any reassurance. I suggested providing as much evidence as you can. UKVI will request more evidence if needed but I doubt it. You seem to be really overthinking this
