Hi all, I have submitted the application and uploaded the documents and paid for document scanning and document checking. It's 4 days now, still have not received any email regarding the uploaded documents. How long will it take for them to come back with the document checking email please if anyone.

We submitted application on 9/1/22 and received a response on the 17/1/22 by e mail.
Also we have not yet received anything from UKVI so its over 10 weeks now.
Also plasee be advised I an unable to return to this forum until the BRP is returned and I will advise you when this happens.

Just for reference. I have received my decision letter for my BRP extension (ILR) just now. Here’s my timeline:

UKVI application form sent: 27/2/22
UKVCAS F2F appointment invitation: 7/3/33
UKVCAS biometric appointment: 9/3/22
Received decision email: 9/5/22
Physical card: Awaiting (email says within 7 working days)

It took about 8.5 weeks from biometrics submission to decision date (10 weeks from application date). They didn’t ask me any additional documents.

All OK Now
Decision E Mail on 22/5/22 and BRP on 25/5/22
so Full timeline
9/1/22 Application submitted
17/1/22 resd response
15/2 Biometecrics done
22/5 Decision E Mail
25/5 Brp arrived.
However some issues the decision letter was ''' Your application for a no time limit endorsement has been successful''' What? My wife has had ILR since 2012! I applied to renew a BRP that expired on 4/4/22.
The BRP expiry date on new BRP is 31/12/24 note see evisa and digital Data . Replacement will be issued free and update will be sent out in early 2024! also note that my wife was unable to travel between 4/4/22 and 25/5/22. So over 4 months and 16 days since initial application.

Just to post an update since I started this thread. I received confirmation today, my timeline is as follows

Application: Indefinite Leave Remain BRP renewal after expiring (10 yrs))
UKVI application form Online sent: 06/04/22
UKVCAS F2F appointment invitation: 13/04/22
UKVCAS biometric appointment: 06/05/22
Received decision email: 06/06/22
Physical card: Awaiting (email says within 7 working days)

I will be eligible to naturalize in six months after the 10 years good character period, hope that goes smooth as this.

Basically once I have made the application, can I still travel if my old BRP is still valid?
