Yes. Answer British first to this question then add Philippines citizenship specifying your child still holds this nationality by ticking the box.OneTrickPony wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 1:22 pmHi, sorry this is kind of very important question that I missed. In the application for RoA after I answered a question about nationality of my child's which is Philippines they ask: 'Do you currently hold, or have you ever held, any other nationality or citizenship?' Because my child is a British Citizen by birth (I am her father a naturalised British Citizen) should I answer Yes to this question? And after I say yes they ask date held from and date held to. Should I just date held from - date of my child's birth and date held to today's date? And it also asks me tick the box to confirm 'Confirm if you still hold this nationality'. Confusing sorry.
Don't fret over this - they will evaluate your case according to what you have submitted. If they need anything more they will get in touch.OneTrickPony wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:29 pmBut the first question that says, state your nationality as indicated on your passport or national identity card. I first said that she is a Philippino national and then added additional nationalitites as British. Did I mess up? Does it make a weaker case?
