Timelines Update for EU wife PR Application

Application sent: 15/03/17 (online form)
European Passport Return Service: 17/03/2017 (Camden Council. They offer a walk-in service on a first come first served basis Monday - Friday between 9.30am and 2.30pm, except 1st Thursday of the month 9.30am to 12 noon. Address is Camden Register Office, Town Hall, Judd Street, London, WC1H 9JE Tel. 020 7974 4444). We found the walk-in service extremely useful as most council around where we do not offer this and sometime it proves difficult to get an appointment within the stipulated 5 working days from online application. £20 fee paid on the day including special delivery to UKVI.

PR card, confirmation letter and all supporting docs received: 26/5/2017 (in return envelop provided by us). PR card and confirmation letter are dated 18 May 2017.

All in all it took together 2 months and 11 days from online application to receipt of PR card and supporting documents.
It is worth noting that my wife is from A2 and has been living in the UK since January 2011 as a student with CSI from August 2011 and worker from October 2012.

Best of luck to all those waiting for an outcome. Will be happy to help in any way I can given my little experience.

Heya,

Ended up on this site due to the usual panic of when am I going to get my PR as a eea-national dependent after living in the UK for 5 years. As timing goes, I have a job offer that requires right to work, which I have through a eea family permit visa, but it expires in August 2017. To add a bit more complexity, I had to renew my passport, which I did with my married name, but didn't transfer the VISA since it would've taken 12 weeks & I was going for the PR anyways.

So far our timing is:
Applied online and payment through eea national husband: 25/05/17
Sent documentation through european passport return service: 26/05/17
Email confirmation Home Office received application: 26/05/17
Biometrics letter: ?
Biometrics submitted: ?
COA: ?
PR: ?

Hello and Thanks everyone for their support. I'm a Non-EEA National, 5.5 years Married, separated to EEA National

Timeline
26.10.2016 Application Sent
28.10.2016 Application received
10.11.2016 Biometrics Request
14.11.2016 Biometrics Sent
20.11.2016 COA received

28.04.2016 6 months completed

18.05.2017
Called HO for an update. They Told me someone will get back in 5 working days. No one did

26.05.2017
Called HO again for an update. Got a call today(31.05.17) saying:
they cannot tell me anything at this time.
it's under consideration.

I ask about the timeframe.

He said when the application passes 6 Month they can't give any timeline.

This is very very painful and depressing. First, they ask not to contact before 6 months. After 6 (7 + now ) months, they say its been more than 6 months, so we cannot give any timeline?

HO took 14 Months to precess My EEA 2 Application in 2012/13.
It's going in the same direction.

I have read several opinions/advice from here but really confused.

Should I keep on pushing over the phone?
Should I Write a letter?
Should I see My MP (NO MP till June 8 )

Any advice on next possible steps and options I have would highly appreciate

Well, not strictly a 2017 application but whatever...

Applied for PR 30 March 2016
Refused for insufficient no. of payslips Sept 2016
Appealed to FtT Sept 2016
Appeal refused due to typo on spouse payslip Nov 2016
Applied for permiss to Appeal to Upper Tribunal Nov 2016
PTA refused Dec 2016
Applied direct to UT for permission Jan 2017
Permission granted Jan 2017
Appeal heard with additional evidence permitted 29 Apr 2017 (No representative)
Judge to remake decision (he/she said)
New COA received on request 4 May 2017

Just got confirmation from Upper Tribunal today that the appeal was successful, but have said Home Office have a right of appeal. Not ideal seeing as it gives a 3 month window in which they can appeal it.

Current waiting time: 14 months

Hope this is of help to anyone feeling like it is all a waiting game for the HO(waiting for you to withdraw your application in frustration or if no right to work, waiting for your savings to run out)

Hi,

Just wanted to share my experience with applying for PR card.

I've applied online for EEA PR as EEA national 'qualified person' - worker route. My timeline:

Application submitted - 09/03/2017
Email confirmation with case ID received - 09/03/2017
Documents posted - 09/03/2017
Email from HO confirming documents received: 10/03/2017

Documents received with PR card - 15/04/2017
I have posted all my docs directly without using passport service.

I applied via European return service and submitted online application 3 months ago. I haven't received confirmation from Home Office that they received my documents. Is anyone else here have the same problem as I'm very paranoid right now. Does anyone know whom would I contact to confirm that my documents with home office?
