Same here. Spent at least £10 on the UKCAS call to wait for someone to tell me what is happening with both their website and my account but no one picked up.

UKVCAS are absolutely ripping people off. I got their email last night and was trying to book an appointment but the only ones that are available are subject to £110 fee per person!

I have spoken with the Home Office and they've advised me to send a complaint to the following email address: srsukvacs@homeoffice.gov.uk

UKVCAS are supposed to be providing free appointments so this is completely unethical and not in line with their service level agreement.

At what time did you try to log in the last night to see the available slots? I checked just after seen the email but it was already 10pm and the site was down.

For me, the website was working fine last night, till just 1 hour ago.
Its playing up but I just checked its working now.

My application was submitted June 1st and I haven’t received an email. I’m hoping this means I’m one of the people reusing biometrics...

Seems like no one is receiving biometrics reuse emails as of now? Tomorrow is the last day as the update claimed we should receive emails before 23rd. Fingers crossed!!

I finally ended booking a slot by paying £110 but I think I am going to send a complaint too. It just feels like UKVCAS is making money out of the situation when it's for them to sort the backlog out.

For me, the website was working fine last night, till just 1 hour ago.
Its playing up but I just checked its working now.

It was around 12 noon but it took ages to log in. The website kept crashing. I suggest checking early morning or late evening.

That might be because of your multiple trying to log in and for security you were sent an access code.

I think they may have looked at application. Interim indefinite may have been granted to all of us. They are not biased I presume. I am also waiting since 03rd of July. Application date 13.04.2020. Just hang in their.

Do you think they have looked at the application with uploaded docs otherwise how they will stop others to have biometrics.

There is something behind the curtain. Lets wait and see. I think by end of next week picture will be more clearer.

Looking at what is going on. I think eu and non eea family members with settled status are the ones they are asking to come for biometrics but I might be wrong. No one can really say what criteria they are using. I had to pay £135 for mine

I am an eu family member with settled status only and no PR. I gave my biometric last year (apr 2019) and did receive biometric reuse email for application made in May 2020.

By the looks of it: I think one of the major factors in the decision to attend the biometrics is the nationality you belong to. Certain nationalities maybe are not given an option to reuse biometrics.

Wellbi just thought am in the same as you and gave biometrics last year and got invite to book biometrics in Monday and had it yesterday.. as i said no one knows the criteria they use ...
