My status changed on 10th July (6th July decision date) and this afternoon I received a letter from home and invitation letter from my council

Congrats ashaqat2 - you appear to be the first to receive a decision letter from the people with updated statuses last week!

a bit concerned now as my status changed to decided on the 11th of july (website said decided on the 9th) but havent received any letters yet. Members who had applications decided at a later date have already received their letters. Called the council and they havent received anything either

cold winter dont worry. its on its way coming. my friend's own showed status updated on the 9th of july , he got his approval this afternoon. and guess what ? hew only applied on the 3rd of may 2017. i applied same time as him so now just praying my status changes too to decided

I have just updated my post in the March timeline-
Applied on the 16th of March, and noticed this morning that my online status has changed to "decided" updated 6 July 2017. I have noted a few people who applied around the same time as me, so hopefully this info will be helpful to you!

So today I received my approval letter from
The Home Office - it instructed me to contact my local council to book my ceremony which I did straight away! (It turns out that our Naturalisation Certs have been with them since the 7th of July)I managed to get a private ceremony today so very pleased to announce that both myself and my daughter are now British! Happy days

Good luck to all! Once your approval letter arrives things can happen very quickly indeed!

Did you apply yourself or through a NCS? I applied through a different NCS to where I live and had no idea that my certificate would go to my local council hence I did not think to check with them, I simply assumed it would be sent to the council where I made my application

I applied at a different ncs but have checked with my local council. I am aware that the certificate goes to the local council.

Cold Winter - got a decided status 1 day after you - still waiting for letter as well. Hopefully it comes by this week for both of us!

Mate might be worth ringing your council tommorrow to see if thy have recieved anything. Looks like in most cases the council is recieving the letter before the applicant.

Cold winter relax - my status updated same date as you. We are not even close yet to 10 working days being up. If you go through March timelines thread you can see a number of cases where letter arrived close to the 2 week mark. I'm trying to not worry until it is actually Tuesday next week

Don't worry. Give them a couple of days. My one was decided on 26/06/2017 and I have received my letter on 13/07/2017. Meanwhile, I have sent an email to Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk (case no was given to them) and they sent me the duplicate invitation. They took only one day to reply.

Not always. I have received on 13/07 and Council received on 14/07. You don't need to call Council all the time. You can check by booking ceremony link. Use HO reference(N*********)

Hi mnunrabi - what is the N******* reference number is it the one on the biometric letter i.e. an alphabet followed by 7 numeric digits?
