British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Well I used Check & Send Service where I sent only my latest valid passport and didnt even mention anything about my previous cancelled indian passport which actually had the entry clearnace & the recent residence permit stamps. I got back my indian passport within a week through DX couriers without a need to sign for it, guess it is because I don't stay in a sensitive area.

no, you need to send your naturalisation certificate along with passport application. You are not British until you attend the ceremony.

No matter what you do, it will come back folded. Even if you ask them or try supply them with an A4 envelope.

Dear Friends,
I am applying for my passport and my kid tomorrow (check and send)
I have still 2 questions. Can you please help?
1. In section 10 for a child applicant, there is one part which says
"I can confirm that I have known the person named in section 2, or in the case of a child, the adult filling in section 9 (Insert their name)

should the countersigning person, writes the name of the child or the name of the parent (who signed section 9) or both!!?

2. In section 9 for adult applicant, Is it enough to sign and date or the applicant should write the name in the boxes provided?
