I have never wanted to see my bank balance go down as much as I do now
is it just me or there seems to be fewer applications made in August?

On the Google Docs spreadsheet:



It shows the total applicants per month lately as:
April - 90
May - 37
June - 19
July - 44
August - 19


Even if these only represent a fraction of a percent of the total applicants, the sample does imply that there are fewer applicants in August.

Though it's possible more people come in later as they get impatient waiting.

I received my acknowledgement letter last week, but haven't yet received my biometrics letter, so seeing others who applied after me get their biometrics letter is frustrating. Though also optimistic that with fewer applicants, timelines may dip substantially in the next month or so.
