I was approved 8th October, so hopefully mine will be sent next week
That's the expiry of the regulations concerning the Tiers in England, it doesn't mean that the national lockdown will last until that date. Paragraph 14(1) is still in effect:
Having said this, based on the PM's speech, it's unlikely anything will change before the 2nd half of Feb / early Mar.14.—(1) The Secretary of State must review—
(a)whether each area that is part of the Tier 2 area or of the Tier 3 area should continue to be part of that area at least once every 14 days, with the first review to be carried out by 16th December 2020;
(b)the need for each of the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 restrictions at least once every 28 days, with the first review to be carried out by 30th December 2020.
Obviously nothing is certain for now but most likely.
- MirrorBut the small print of the law - which already came into effect at midnight and is being approved retrospectively - shows it could last longer.
While Health Secretary Matt Hancock must review the rules at least every two weeks, he’ll have the power to keep them until March 31.
I have mine scheduled tomorrow 2pm but at Nottingham City Council.Bengomango wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 11:14 amHi guys anybody here from Nottingham county council ? Anybody have any ceremony coming up in Nottingham county council ?

which department or email address should I email to get a ceremony invitation letter or notification. My family and I have been waiting for more than 3 months to get our ceremony invitation. By my recollection, ceremonies invitation should be a week after nationality decision.
Any help will be appreciated
Hey bro,
Thank you for the update. Glad to be reassured that virtual ceremonies are going ahead and will be saving £125. They called you a week ago. Mine is on 15/1. Probably will get a call in 1-2 days also. I also tried to push my luck and email them for an earlier date if possible but no reply so far. True our dates are just around the corner. Little more patience. Good luck and keep me posted please. Thank you.Hey bro,
Hounslow called me today. They will do a virtual ceremony same day and time and asked me for that Microsoft Team app which I already had. Tried to push my luck and ask for an earlier fay but she said its only a few days. It will be half the fee though. Only 125

What poor beggars. All that rip off fees and 2nd class posts lol
Does anybody know how long is taking councils to send the Naturalisation Certificates? Do they send them right after the ceremony?
