Hello forum,
Just received Settled Status today 6 December 2019 (in my post on 18 Nov I predicted to receive it the first week of December so that was spot on

).
My COA was on 24 October 2019, and I am an EEA citizen. At the time I was offered Pre-settled Status but opted for Settled Status on the basis of my old Council Tax bills that I managed to retrieve from my local council. I included a PDF with pictures of those bills to my application.
So it took the home office 43 days to process the application. For forum user DanielG (EEA) who applied on 16 October it took about 40 days and he also had been offered Pre-settled Status and also added evidence to apply for Settled Status. So for those EEA applicants who submitted additional proof for Settled Status, count on about 7 weeks for your application to be processed.
Note that I did not go through the agony of making any phone calls to the Home Office. I am pretty sure that if they see COA status they will simply tell you that everything is okay and that you have to wait.
For those who despair: Note that according to the statistics issued by the Home Office (
https://www.gov.uk/government/collectio ... statistics) so far only FOUR applications were refused. So hang in there!
Good luck!
Rich
