If you are from india then you can apply from Monday. If you are from Pakistan then you need to wait till Pakistan come out from Red List.

You can still apply for a visit visa even though Pakistan is on the red list. They are still making decisions as refusals are being given.

Hello - Unfortunately have not heard anything apart from the on hold email that we received. I applied a visa for my mother for 2 years visit visa. I got this email below. Did anyone else receive any emails of this sort. I applied on 22nd July and got the email as on hold on 04th August 2021.

Non-settlement within 15 working days
Priority Visas within 5 working days
Settlement within 60 working days.

Hi All,

My parents received visa this morning.

Below are the timelines

Biometric submitted : 12th July 2021 @Bangalore India.
Hold email from UKVI due to red list : 14th July 2021
Travel date mentioned on Applucation : Travel on 10th August and return on 5th Feb 2022
Passport received: 11th August 2021
Visa granted : 9th Aug 2021 to 9th Feb 2022

No further communication in between. Hope this is helpful.

My mother received her 2 years visitor visa this morning. Biometrics submitted - 22nd July. on-Hold email received on 04th August, received passport with visa on 11th August.

From the previous posts everyone who got the hold Email applying from India is now getting their visas.

Unfortunately for Pakistan we have to wait until the next review which is 25th August I'm afraid.
