Has anyone who applied in April get a response yet? We foolishly booked travel for the beginning of July thinking it shouldn’t be an issue, 10 weeks should certainly be enough time for them to process our renewal, but we’re starting to panic a bit.

Just an update about my IRP renewal - applied on 22/04/2022 and received the acknowledgment e-mail on the same day. Received an email today - my application has been processed. It takes around 6 weeks.
Will update once I get the IRP card.
I received my new IRP card today. It took a week after I was notified that my application's processed(6-June-2022). Seems like they are speeding up

I called the Immigration Service today, they said they were still processing applications submitted in March. Please, can I ask if anyone got approval for an IRP application submitted in April? I know that yuki_vm posted above about approval for an application submitted in late April, but seems it's just a lucky accident.

My partner applied on the 11th of April, and I submitted mine on the 17th once I came back from a trip and we're still waiting. We're supposed to travel the first week of July counting on the original 7-8 week wait estimate, this is super frustrating that we're in week 9 of waiting with no end in sight.

Completely understand your feelings. I applied on April 19, but no updates since then.

I've applied for Stapm 4 renewal based on Irish citizen child at 04.04.2022 and got approval e-mail on 15.06.2022 (about 10 weeks). I'm still waiting for the card itself.
After reading recent posts in this thread, I was a bit worried that I might get refusal, since I didn't have permission letter from the Department of Justice, but in my case it wasn't needed.

Did you apply online and had to pay €300?

HI oliviajjj,
I just have one question about you process. Did they know about your 1th time submission, or did you told them that you didn't get acknowledgement number when you first applied ? Because my husband and I submit our on 16th of May and we were wondering, what month are they processing now. When we applied it was 5 to 6 working weeks but from end of May they announced that is 9 to 10 working weeks. So we don't know exactly in what time frame are we then.
Best wishes

Hi Yunna, "Your permission letter from the Department of Justice that details the conditions under which you
were granted a Stamp 4 (if applicable).", if we applied as a parent of Irish child is this applicable? Who will need this any idea?

Hi All. Today I got an approval email for my IRP application. As I applied on April 19, it took about 10 weeks. Now I'm waiting for the card to be delivered.

Hi, they processed my second one but didn't mention anything about my first one. I guess they just didn't get my first one at all. If you don't have an acknowledgement, better to submit again.

Applied for converting Stamp 2 to Stamp 1G on April 4, 2022.
Received application processed email on June 14, 2022 but till now the IRP card has not arrived.
It has been almost 10 working days yet there is no card, so I'm a bit worried.
Should I send an email to them now or should I wait more?
Generally during previous renewals, I have received card within 5 working days after "application processed" email.
Is there anyone who received the processed email after June 14, and already received their IRP card?
Thank you

We got the acknowledgment mail, but we were wondering what month are they doing right now. Because someone says it takes 5 to 6 working weeks and other 10 to 12 working weeks. Nobody although posted except you, that they submit in May. We also submit in May so we hope that its not gonna be so much longer before we get processed email also. We have some travel plans, so we wanted to find out, how long does it takes now.

Hi guys,
If anyone applied in May also, could you share your story it would really mean a lot. It is really confusing with the time frame that they give, is it 5-6 or 10-12 working weeks now?

They seem to be processing April right now, I applied on the 17th of April and just got the card, so about 10 weeks of waiting (and right on time for my trip next week!). I think the timeline of 9-10 weeks is currently correct, although I've heard that they expect it to jump to about 12 weeks since they opened the applications to 3 months before old IRP expiry, so more applications to get through.

Hi, sorry I didn't understand - does it mean that we can apply 3 months before our IRP card expires now? It was 1 month before. This is great news. IS it written somewhere?

The requirement to wait until the final four weeks before renewing the permission has been amended. Customers may now apply to renew their permission up to 12 weeks in advance of the permission expiring.
