hi I have another questions that my wife changed the job after we sent the application in 2 weeks so we must inform them with new documents????
You should definitely update UKBA with any supporting documents (contracts and payslips) as soon as your wife leaves her previous job. UKBA contacts the job mentioned in your application and if they can't get through to them or they don't get confirmation that she still works there, they just reject your application, no questions asked. Always notify them of any changes.

I wish that all of you get your RCs asap, I was waiting for almost 6
months and know how that feels. At least we know that they haven't lost
our October applications, just being very slow and non-responsive.

You should all ask for your passports back, mates!
I am pretty sure it would help a lot, at least UKBA will look at your application as probably they are only getting dusty in some corner in the office. I've realisead that as I've asked for my passport back and they looked at my application 5 days after I requested my passport back so I am pretty sure that my application was getting dusty as well.
Cheers!!

I'll advice those of you who have been expecting your RC for about 6 months to contact the HO reminding them about the
SIX MONTH RULE
which according to EC law "requires the UK to decide applications for a residence card within 6 months from the date of receipt of the application. It is vital that this requirement is adhered to."
Good luck y'all

Hello Ali,
Don't worry, You will get your COA with in week or two.
As my friend sent the application on 15th of match and he received his COA on 2nd of April.
So normally it should be received with in 3 weeks.
So don't send them email or write any letter....as it is so early.
Regards

I havent recieved COA for almost 5 months now, so it all depends on the HomeOffice. But I would wait for 3-4 weeks to see if you recieve it, if not try and get in touch with them and hope they reply, coz they havent to me.
Best of luck.

I have read all the post and I want to share with my experience.
I have applied on the 2 of October 2012 and received COA on the 20 of October. Since then silence. I have requested passports back on the 1 of April and had only my husbands passport returned. I phoned UKBA and they told me to wait as decision hasn't been made. I don't know what to do, Its over 6 months. How can I complain? do you know email address.
Also my friend asked to share his story. He applied for PR on the 23 of November 2013. on the 4 April he had his documents back but he was issued with residence documentation for national of eea state. He is from Uzbekistan, which not an EU country . He phoned UKBA, guy on phone was surprised and said to send all the documents back and send a cover letter asking to consider previous application and issue with correct PR document.
