my application was also submitted on the 10th of may
everytime i check the tracking system says the same thing forwarded to OC

SALAM,

Everyone stop stressing out, What ever happens will happen. We cant do anything to change anything or speed it up. Just take ur mind off it and remember that if they are destined to be here they will when the time is right. Just do dhikar and dua , rather then stressing out, May ALLAH help us all.

Asalam Alaycum all

For those waiting on a decision, RELAX, nothing you can do to speed up process, have patience, remeber they say it can take upto 12 WEEKS to process applications. So please on't stree if you don't get a response in a few weeks.

I have an appeal hearing later today, as my wifes visa was refused back in January over silly reasons (see prev posts). Insh Allah it will be successfull. Its been a long wait and don't know how long i still have to wait until she gets her visa, Allah knows best.

I hope all you waiting for decisons recieve +ve outcomes insh Allah.

Remember all in your duas.

Another day and another update - but today its different!!!!!

Checked status and the application is now ready for collection so the mrs is going down this afternoon!!

Bricking it now!! Inshallah it will be good news - do dua for me people!!
Any news for the rest of you guys?

How long has it taken for your application to be processed?

Salaam guys!! Mrs got her visa!!

But typically there is a chicken up!!

Batley bhai - some advice please!! They have written her name as Fatira rather than Fatima on the visa!! What should i do?? Can she travel on it or not??

I think your wife can travel on it and you can get this changed when she will apply for perment visa after 2 years in uk that's what I think but still it's better if you can check with any soloctior.

My application submitted on 25 march 10 but your vac was lahore and mine was karachi.

Dont know how long it will take to get this status change to passport collection.

Congratulation on your success. Yes it is a minor error but if you were to try and correct it now, it could take another month or two.I think she should travel and if quizzed just ell them truth. It is only one letter different, its not like a different name altogether. I dont think she will have problems. If she is to be quizzed anywhere it will be on arrivals in the UK, where you would be able to explain if called over to meet her.

Atleast in this summer they are doing what they claim to do i.e. processing under 12 weeks hmmmm thats way i like it.

checked with ulna and they have recomended that it is corrected!! They have said it will take a minimum of 4 days so I am guessing that should be at least a month!

In fairness now that the visa is issues I am not that worried so will probably have it corrected before she comes over in order to save on any hassle in the future!!

1. when was the visa actually issued?i.e., the date on the visa stamp...was it afew days ago?

2. didnt gerrys lahore ask your wife to wait until she receives a call from gerrys which is what gerrys say?
