@heyaheya - Into IT and other buz is with regards to Toursim. SureRaises eyebrows and a lot of questions thats why i have to go through an interview. Just one thing lead to another and drifted you see. Given a chance to correct I will defo go back and change things but its a bit late now as 3 years have passed and the judgement day not far off

And all have applied on Feb 2017.
Things can't clear in one visit If they only want to see the genuineness of the business.
Some people have 100's of clients and some have 2-3 and they are doing other businesses as well to survive.

@MARCRATH what if someone has changed the address during extension?
I applied in may 2017 for extension and I am changing my office in this month because my contract is ended.
Do you thing I need to inform home office about that?

u will be fine my dear .......i know its hard even me i havent applied yt going to apply soon... and i am alread freaking out .. what if they come and visit... its not that we are not real entrepreneurs .. its jus that its weired feeling smbody coming to chk u... u never know what they say and ask u and u get confused...

Tough to say.

You are supposed to inform "change of circumstances" but that is primarily meant for personal circumstances.

I would just be safe and update business changes too, even if it not required.

Hi Guys,

Its time for an update. Look into my timelines I applied on 18 Feb 2017. Biometrics done in march and complex letter received soon after that in the beginning of april. today I receive a phone call. saying that I will be interviewed coming week at my place.

I have been juggling with one to many things at iam lots. No time for preparation at all. Iam not worried or scared per se but I know Iam in for loads of questions. Totally making you all aware . maybe this is a trend now or it has been taking place, whatever the case is . My number is up.

ANy help from anybody who has given interviews would help me. Please. I literally dont have any time .

etc... would be appreciated. Please

and manu : no mate it does not end with that no. Mine is a simple mobile no and a surprise call and also the email designates the person clearly who is taking my interview.


They are dead serious about getting things right . I have one shotDo it right - and the toughest one !

VISH take it easy ... so is one person only or few of them are coming... so with the call u got email as well.................this is bit strange tbh as they cant go to each and every applicants place and interview them.. this will cost them money and need more human power. i dunoo maybe experts can tell much better. but as all said its new trend... they jus dont want evybody to fullfill all points .. they want to see much more... lets see how it goes.. but please dont worry. if u have space in ur office even jus small u still have smthing to accommodate them... prayers for all who are going through this....

thanks heyaheya and god bless you ....Not sure how many are gonna interview. I have heard there are normally two people over skype or something. But hey I never thought of that. Probably more than two. Yes I received a phone call from a mobile no and over the call she did mention about the appointment and asked me to confirm with my reply to the email she was going to send after the call.

It is strange enough but its happenning.

I know this sort of visits happen at a different level unless HO got my case mixed up or something . Iam only on a 50 K route and the attention iam getting is huge Case to case basis . However its good to know that they are validating things .. I wonder what interest have I sparked in them. It does cost them money but they are willing to go for it.Call it a blessing or curse , eventually I will know .
Not sure if a skype interview or face to face interview is better. This seems more creepy but here Iam

skype interview is when they send u letter with time and place.. and thr is always one person ( not case worker) ... i think face to face interview is always better but not at ur place .. u know wa i mean.. its like u having discussion and they can see ur body language... i m sure it wont be long.. is ur trading address same as registered office. usually on skype the interview is for 45 mins - 1 hour i heard ... so it should be that long.. and plus if they are coming to u they will see things rather than asking u.. what do u think .. we all are jus gussing as not many ppl have gone through this ... gooddd luckkkk... have a deep breath and start working.. u have plenty of time ..

Iam not getting the same person. Iam getting a lady interviewer on wed.Just preparing for that day. Two more days left for faceoff. its gonna be a tough one , but I have done my best. iam tired.

Being new to all this it has taken quite a lot, for me to get to the stage where Iam at the moment. If I had known, it would come down to this stage three years after, I feel really bad, as in my case the money is stuck and its about time that I have to get my returns etc.. and the fact that I have to go through this, does indeed have me stressed out. Its unfair. But let us look at whats going to happen. Thanks for the motivation, heya. I shall keep you posted. This forum is great. When are you applying. Please do let me know. I have a good sense of guiding people in terms of direction after all this experience. Dont worry , take it easy as this is not the end of life.cheers

I personally believe that at the moment they are interviewing most of London applicants because they think that most people have virtual offices. But soon they will start this process in other cities. I am pretty sure about this.
Many of entrepreneurs were doing taxi's on this visa and they have been reported by councils in past 4 months.
I think that's the only reason of them to visiting the offices.

yes Momi thats a good observation. This appears to be a new trend anyway. people used to get visits for sponsor ship licenses. Now look at this. brexit has been influencing changes across. Be prepared with everything you can. are you based in london ? whats your business like . one profile costumedesign , is badly going through issues. No I ain't base in london.
I feel really sorry for that guy, everybody is not so much strong.
I know some cases when councils called the taxi licence holders for interview and cancelled their licences. It all happened after home office issued guidance for councils.

sadd. Taxi is not for entreprenurs. However if they own and run it, its probably a different story. But even taxi business is tough . day n night . Poor guys I can imagine .
