Unfortunately i didn’t receive any kind of corespondance from them and it’s been a week i have tried to contact them. By replying them on same email. But they didn’t reply me after that.

You replied Solvit again i guess?. If they haven't replied you back probably they haven't gotten an answer from ISD. They will reply you but it can take time depending on your EU spouse country of origin Solvit. Now all what you can do is keep trying to contact ISD and your local TD. Some of the case workers make it hard for some people.

Fortunately I got a confirmation email through td that a positive decision has been made on my application. Today I received my decision for my Eutr1. It was surely a hard time for me. But I really appreciate the help from you and my local TD.
Here’s my total waiting period
Date at which application was posted :13 Nov 2023
They received at 14 November 2023
I didn’t receive any of acknowledgement or any letter requesting further documentation.
They were quite irresponsive to me I firstly tried to send them registered post still no reply
Then I contacted solvit and my local td at the 6th ongoing month from the day of submission.
Fortunately Td helped me to get acknowledgment in a week then after a while solvit replied me telling me that in the coming week correspondance will be issued to you but no reply. At last my Td got me a correspondence from them and later after that day I got decision in letters.
Date at which decision was made and accepted by registered post :7 June 2024
Literally took us 7 months to get a decision from them these Irish authorities are literally too slow
But at last w8 for me is now over

That's great!. The Irish Authorities are just selective.
Everyone has to be treated equally.

With my partner we applied for EU1A and have had a positive outcome until now. Just wanted to share our timeline for reference as I used this thread to seek for information on this topic.

Date of Application: Feb 12 2024
Date of Acknowledgement letter sent: Jun 05 2024 -- asking for more documents. New documents sent Jun 10 2024
Date of Stamp 4 received: Jun 18 2024 -- Valid until Mar 2025.
Date of final approval or refusal: Pending

With my partner we have a civil partnership established in France (PACS), even if it's not recognized by Ireland I believe it played in our favor. Between Feb and Jun, we did send one email asking for acknowledgement for our application because we were traveling after the first 90 day permission given at the airport to my partner. She does not require a visa to visit the state.

 You must complete this form in CAPITAL letters
 You must place a tick () in the boxes that are relevant to you
 You must complete all sections of this form which are relevant to you in full
 You must submit photocopies of supporting documents for each application
 You must complete the checklists on pages 28, 29 and 47 for each application
 You, the applicant, must sign and date the declaration on page 30
 The EEA national must sign and date the declaration on page 48

b) I am not sure if mobile phone bills are accapted as residency tbf - there were doubts about them.

I'm a dual Italian-American citizen with a same sex partner of 4.5 years, and we've lived together in Lithuania since July 2021 on the same lease. We are applying for the de facto relationship visa, but since he is an Egyptian citizen, I am worried we will be one of the rejections I've been reading about on this thread.

We are providing all of the following:

• Proof of travel - flights, buses, hotels, pictures, events
• Proof of how the relationship started - texts, pictures, etc
• Proof of birthday, anniversary, and Valentine's Day gifts
• Lease agreement in LT for the past three years
• Lease agreement for our place in Ireland
• Show a shared bank account we opened in Ireland
• Bank statements and excel spreadhseets showing shared expenses and transactions
• Health insurance with the partner listed as beneficiary and next of kin

Can anyone chime in about anything I'd need to be aware of that caused rejections in the past? Something I've read is that if we don't have a shared mortgage or car payment, they will think we're not in a durable relationship.

What @meself2 suggested is the simplest way however if that's not possible let your spouse or the account holder of the utility bill write a note on top of any utility bill confirming you live there.


If possible, You can also ask your letting agency or landlord to provide you with a letter confirming you and your spouse live in said address and add it to the utility bill as advised above.

Or just register for garbage collection and use the invoice.

Phone bills can be rejected.

Good day been following the threads and been calming some anxieties in these uncertain moments. I have question about EuTr1 application . I am a non EEA national with residency from France as I have refugee status in France . My wife is a EEA citizen from France and she moved to Ireland for work with my 3 kids then I followed after about a year.
Arrived in Ireland 28/03/24
Applied for EUTR1 29/04/24
Application Received Eu treaty rights Dublin 01/05/24
Acknowledgement letter received 25/06/24
Dated 20/06/24 after I had send an email requesting status of my application.
I received acknowledgement letter without stamp 4 as they are asking me of evidence of Identity as in my passport copies in colour of my country of origin that I do not have as I possess residency and 1951 Convention travel document from the country that I am a resident in and a refugee in . Therefore should I still pursue in asking for the temporary stamp 4 as I have send them copies of my travel document as that is my identity. I did this application through solicitors also .

I believe you entered with an EUTR visa?. If your Geneva passport was accepted at the Irish airport, you shouldn't have a problem applying for EU treaty rights.

Write a cover letter to them with your person I.D and application number on the acknowledgement letter explaining you only have the Geneva passport (1951 Convention Travel Document for refugees) issued by France. That's your only proof of identification.

If you have an EUTR visa, send them a color photocopy of it, the data page and last page of your travel document via registered post.

@Angela99 Thank you for you response I entered with a Type C visa and I send the copies of the travel documents in Colour as they requested and they acknowledged receipt of the documents. Now I await responds as in regards to the Temp stamp 4 whilst my application is being processed . Just have to be hopeful for it’s not easy waiting doing nothing.

If your marriage has lasted at least 3 months it shouldn't raise questions. You will be issued the EUTR type C visa.

You will need to provide proof of Cohabitating after you entered the State and applying for your EU treaty rights ( Stamp 4EUFam).

in the website they wrote this
Proof of identity – for example, valid passports for the applicant family member and the EU citizen
Am I supposed to send the original passports of my wife or just my passport and a copy of her passport.
also is 2 pay slips are enough to prove she is there, because they said they need that eu citizen is exercising free movement rights in Ireland .
