Status of invitations for 2022 December Ceremony

Thank God, I received mine today
The 5th of December is my lucky day.


This form was the only relief for the long journey

When did the waiting people receive their 2nd fee confirmation email?

I received mine on the 17th

I received the 2nd fee email on the 14th of September and still waiting for the invite

I am still waiting, I hope tomorrow the postman will carry the happy news for me.

I got mine for the 5th. Thanks, people for being the support group during the tricky times.

I have still not received mine. There are so many stages of the application even after approval that keeps you worried..

My wife Got email confirmation for processing of fee on 8th November, still awaiting for the invitation.

Got my letter for Dec 5 ceremony end of last week.

Btw if you are relying on anpost mail forwarding DO NOT. My invitation letter went to my old address and not the forwarded address I provided to anpost. Luckily we have contact for new tenant in our old house and they were able to let us know that my letter arrived there!

Fee was processed on 15-sept
Update email recieved on 21-Sept

My wife recieved her inviation on Thursday last week

Her Fee was processed on 26-Oct
Update email recieved on 9th-Nov

So don't look like they are coming in sequence. I hope I get mine today or max tomorrow before I start sweating.

My husband received it last week as well. I would contact the citizenship division if I were you. Good luck!

ISD used to send digital version of the invites at the previous ceremonies. So just send an email with your application number and with proper subject line like ceremony invitation not received so they will probably send you PDF version of your ceremony invitation.

I agree, you should email them and ask for a PDF copy then you can print it, the post might take a few days to arrive and you don't have that luxury of waiting in the painful stress.

Sounds good. If tomorrow you don't receive it, if I were you I would reply back to that email telling them you haven't received the invitation yet, if they can please send you a pdf version. That will hopefully trigger an escalation to the team in charge of sending invitations and ensure they send your invitation on time for the ceremony.

At least they gave you a date, they responded to me "citizenship invitations will be sent in due course" which doesnt give me any info.

Finally got invitation letter today for 5th December for my wife.

This is the end of my journey which started in 2016 when I applied, then got my approval in 2019, then 2020 my child and 2021 my 2nd child, and now my wife.

Thanks to all members of the group who have been supportive throughout this period.

Good luck to all those who are waiting. Let me tell you : you will get it this time or the next, stay positive
