Hi @ajitu92

May I please ask how do the August number of approval and average processing days look like for LR as per your dataset? I still hope to get a result by Christmas as an early Sep applicant. Many thanks!
Hi @schen...here are the current stats for August Set LR applications:

Number of applications: 61
Number approved: 46
Latest approval application date: 24/08/20
6 applications outstanding between 20/08/2020 and 24/08/2020.
2 applications outstanding pre 20/08/2020

I hope the same being an early Sept applicant as well. If Home Office keep up the pace, I think we will hear something between 1-15 December.
I am one of those 6 applicants! My case is pretty straightforward. :(

My friend (not in this forum) applied on 17/8/2020, yet to receive a decision. Looking at the timelines, IDV app only submissions are getting relatively late decisions. I hope all August applicants receive approvals within a week or two!

For Set LR, in my opinion IDV has not slowed down decision timeline unlike other routes given the average timeline is around 90 days.
You and your friend should hear back this week hopefully. Fingers crossed.

22nd December will be full 6 months, SET (M) application date 22nd June

Hoping it is before that *fingers Crossed*

I'm in the same boat as you. 22nd June SET (M) applicant. Hang in there, there's an end in sight.

Hi All,

I have submitted application(01 Oct 2020) and in person Biometrics(27 Oct 2020). I haven't received any updates from HO regarding my application status after submission.

Is there any HO email to enquire about the status of my application(Set O and 1dependent)?

Same timeline, just biometrics on 23rd Oct. I doubt writing to them will help. I called them out of curiosity last week but their call triage is pretty clear that they wouldn't take the call if you are within their published SLA. It is currently 6 months. I can understand a few applicants got quick decisions in October but I think the UKVI is now concentrating on IDV applicants who have been waiting for longer.

Has anyone remained on this forum July ILR Set(O) applicant and still not got a decision like me :(
4th June applicant, still no response. Did double submission of biometric but that did not speed up the process for me as well. Have noticed the delays are more for those who have applied with their dependents.
Congratulations! :D I have seen your post on the timeline thread.

My application was a Set(O) + 1 dependant and should be straightforward (I think). I submitted application mid-July and went for face-to-face biometric appointments mid-August but still haven't heard anything. Everyone else with the same timeline seems to be getting their decisions already so I'm feeling like I'm very unlucky :( I'm not sure if it has anything to do with having it done via the solicitor.

I tried to call up HO but it seems they won't bother if it hasn't reached 6 months so not sure what else we can do.
Not related to ILR but a colleague of mine applied for a ICT extension on 18th May for him and his family and they still have not received any communication. He has rasied complaints, got MP's support and tried calling Homeoffice but no use.

Yes, an exception. As a late August applicant it was a shock for me too to see a September LR decision but calmed down when I saw the applicant has escalated :)

Does anyone know if the application gets a Case Id straight away on submission or only when its assigned to a case worker? My solicitor tried to get more information on my application and the response came with a Case ID and status - still under processing.

Does anyone in the group have email address to contact HO on the status of Set O application?

I have seen in the timeline chat that some people that Submitted in Oct got an answer in a matter of days or weeks. How is it that October Set (O) was so quick? I can see that more people from August and Sept are still waiting for emails, but most people in October got an answer fairly quickly.

I am hoping that this is the home office picking up the pace before the holiday season.
