It was a straightforward application, but 7 weeks from handing in the application at the local NCS to receiving online the confirmation that the case was decided is still pretty good. Thanks a lot for everyone sharing information/knowledge on this forum, very helpful.

I applied in the Aberdeen NCS as well on 15/06/2017. I have got strange application updates from the UKVI online tool. For 5 months I was using my Case ID. All the time it was saying "Awaiting Decision" last update - 25.06.2017. Several days ago the update date (25.06.2017) disappeared. Still showing "Awaiting decision". I thought this is a sign. The I checked this forum - no, everybody experienced it. This was under Case ID reference.

Somewhere I read you can use your BRP number (never used it in the last 5 months). I checked it, and BANG. Using the BRP number it says the case is "Decided", wait for 10 days for the letter, and the trick is there is no date when it was decided (so to start counting 10 days). So I have got two confusing messages from UKVI - based on the Case ID the application is "Awaiting Decision", based on the BRP - "Decided", but when decided. Very strange...

Any explanations from the fellow sufferers?
