Alternative evidence of residency was requested on the 23/10/18 for the periods of time I have been working as self employed (about 6 months in 2014) and when I took some time off from work (about 4 months between 2017 and 2018). I have sent my self assessment statement for the financial year 2014-2015 and my bank statements (current account, credit card, joint savings account) proving self sufficiency for the period I have not been working, as specified in the annex of the letter I have received requesting the alternative evidence. As an extra i have included a letter from my mortgage lender confirming the mortgage repayments have always been paid in time and the current outstanding balance. All the documents have been sent Royal mail special delivery on the 30th of October and received by the HO on the 31st of October (the deadline mentioned on their letter for me to send them was the 1st of November).
