Company Name in the Bank Statement is this will be an issue

Post by Smam » Tue Apr 10, 2012 7:06 am

Hi

I am here on WP the name of my company is Nair and Partners but in my bank statements I've just noticed that the name only appears as Nair&Partner with a letter s missing in the end I found out about this when I was checking my online bank statements for my salary where as in my payslips it says the full name of my company which is Nair and Partners with a letter s at the end. I also have this discussion with my Manager and he explained to me that the bank database can only take upto certain amount of characters hence the full name of the Company can't appear with the salary payment in the bank statement.

My question here is that will it going to be a problem for me when I'll be applying for my ILR ? offcourse the Salary amount on the bank statement and the payslip amount is perfectly matching with all the other Tax and NI calculations there's nothing wrong with that information.

Moderators or senior members also please help me by replying to this question for me.

Many thanks for your useful reply.

Don’t worry you will be fine. My company’s name also appears slightly different in bank statements than pay slips.

I was with the same employer at the time of Tier-1 Ext and had no issues.
