Tier 2 extension with dependant

Post by sandysaab » Fri Apr 13, 2012 3:48 am

need help on my visa extension. I entered in UK as a w0rkpermit holder in 2008 and after one year changed my job and got tier 2 visa for three years which is expring in july 2012. I will complete 4 years on my both visas if added together. My querry is :

1, Which form i should fill for extension.
2, How long i will get extension, its 3 years or two years.
3, Whether I need to show funds in my account for dependant(spouse) who is in UK with me Or in my spouse account. Or we both husband wife need to keep money in our respective accounts.

I belive I have to complete just one year more for ILR, But not how the rule works. I have been always on visas qualifying for PR.

Would appericiate your inputs.
Sandy

How will this dependant show that they meet the maintenance requirement * (Here I am confused what to select out of two bold options)

They can provide evidence of the required funds
A-rated Sponsor certified maintenance for this dependant on my certificate of sponsorship
A-rated (Premium) Sponsor certified maintenance for this dependant on my CoS
A-rated (SME+) Sponsor certified maintenance for this dependant on my CoS
A-rated Sponsor certified maintenance for this dependant in a letter
A-rated (Premium) Sponsor certified maintenance for this dependant in a letter
A-rated (SME+) Sponsor certified maintenance for this dependant in a letter
The immigration status of the main applicant

Pls advise what to select. I have to speratly show the maintance funds as dependant or my wifes bank statements (On her Name) is sufficient for both of us ?

Its urgent pls help me.

See 145 and 51.

Read the policy guidance first before reading / filling the forms.
