Tier 1 Dependant - Child born outside UK

Hi

I am on Tier 1 Visa. My wife is pregnant and currently in India because of health reason. I am planning to apply dependant visa for my newborn son in june. I am sure the requirement is the same as dependant.

My questions are:

1) What sort of documents I have to provide for getting the visa done? Is it really straightforward or takes long to process visa these days?

2) We went to India in December 2011 and then my wife couldn't travel with me because of health reason and she has been staying there through this year (2012)..I believe this should not be of problem since she is my dependant. I have my visa extension is due in Apr 2013.

3) do you know the relevant application form or supporting documents guidance notes.

I will really appreciate your help on this.

Hi Guys,

I need your quick help. I am looking to apply my son's Tier 1 Dependant visa from India. My wife is already on Tier 1 Dependant.

I need your advise if you can tell me what documents are required for processing Tier 1 Dependant visa from India. My understanding of documents are:

1) Parents passport copy
2) Marriage Certificate
3) Birth Certificate
4) Three month's bank statement (what is the minimum balance requirement?)
5) Last three month's payslips
6) Employment Letter
7) Utility bill

Please advise if any other documents are required to process the application.

Would you also advise what dependant form is required for child?

I will appreciate your help on this.

Also, just want to confirm that do they still accept bank statement on bank's letter head along with date and sign.

I receive my bank statement on 1st of each month but i have to print bank statement from 01 june till 20 June since that will be missed. I am going to visit branch and convince them to do it.

Hope it is still acceptable.
