Dear All,

Is it possible that UKBA does not send acknowledgment letter at all? My friend apply by post on 5th April and he has not received anything from UKBA. Could he call the UKBA or send them an email and ask about it?

Yes, you need to get confirmed either they received the documents and processing your application or your documents lost in postage or somewhere.

You can do anything to get it confirmed either call or email but try to get something in writing.
