Settlement against T2 ICT

Post by AyeshaAmmad » Thu Apr 19, 2012 9:53 pm

Hi There,

It is with respect to the recent announcemnt that T2 ICT holders can be considered for settlement if they are earning more than £40,000 per annum.

I have received my company sponsored T2 ICT around Nov 2011 and am being paid more than the above mentioned amount. Does this mean I am eligible for settlement in the UK after 5 years of continued stay?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Ayesha

Under the rules only those ICT migrants are eligible for settlement who entered the UK before April 2010.

I expect you are ICT Long Term Staff and as such the maximum length of leave is 3+2 years with no further extension.

Yeah I have 3+2 years if visa so far. I believe there are new rules effective from June 2012 as well. Hoping things get improved for immigrants with T2 visa.

Thanks a lot for clarification.

No changes of Tier 2 ICT settlement rules after June 2012.
