switch from PSW Dependent to Tier 4 general student

Hello everyone,

I am on PSW visa and my wife is on PSW dependent visa, both of our's visa expires on 1 september 2012,

please some one answer my question since it's very difficult to find information regarding this.

my wife planing to do a degree program in a university

1. Can my wife apply for student visa being in UK, for which her course going to start 17 of sep 2012
2. Can I switch to student dependent being in the UK at the same time.
3. how much funds we need to maintain in her account for how long
