US visa options

Hi

I am an Australian citizen living and working in the UK with a Tier 1 (General) PBS permit.

I am thinking of working in the US and am not sure of my options.

Does the US have an equvilant of a Tier 1 General? or are my only options green card or work sponsored permit?

Does anyone know of the numbers let in each year from Australia for green card?

what about employer sponsored work permit?

are there are any other options for me?

Green card is a good option.

You can try for H1B or E3 visas. H1B is opened right now but it might be delaying your contract because it kicks in only on October 1.
