Applying for a Tier 5.

Post by Jon_aus » Sat May 05, 2012 2:09 pm

Hey guys, long time listener first time caller.

I've been with my girlfriend for just shy of a year and she's unfortunately/fortunately moved back to London for work.

I'm planning on moving over at the end of this year and am going to apply for the tier 5. I find the UK visa website to be puzzling at best. I'm hoping someone who is in a similar situation to me can assist, or if you have any other advice please feel free to shout out.

My questions are, is it best to say I'm single or in a relationship when applying for the tier 5? And can I apply for some type of defacto visa after x amount of time whilst I'm over there?

Also, if anyone else here as recently applied for the tier 5 what are the actual step? Do I send in the application and then take a copy to the biometric testing or do they want the application first and then I go to the biometric testing?

Any advice/help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Jon
