Hi all
I got my work permit in 2007 & I was told (by my immigration consultant) that I needed to go back to my country and get entry clearance, as I did not complete my accountancy qualification at that time. So I re entered the UK after obtaining the entry clearance.
The visa on my passport was for five years and my work permit letter also stated 60 months.
The visa sticker on my passport had the following entries (as relevant to my question here).
Number of entries: MULT
Type: VISA WORK PERMIT
My question is:
Was that a multiple entry work permit? I never realised that?
I think multiple entry work permits used to be issued for max 2 years and that is why my one was not that. But a general work permit. Also the work permit letter (a type of form) did not state anywhere that it was a multiple entry. I can only see the word MULT on my visa sticker.
Can someone please help me on that. I would appreciate a prompt response.
Kind Regards
