TfL fine

I have an issue with tfl (Transport for London) i was stop for travelling through Zone 1 because i have Zone 2 to 4. I strongly believe i will not be prosecuted or will not have criminal record from this incident.

Whatever the outcome of their investigation, can this have an effect on my ILR because i intend to apply in November 2012

I don’t think so it would cause any issues. As long as you paid the fine and they didn’t have to take the matter into court, you will be fine.

I have seen people with similar issues with TFL, and they got their ILRs successfully.

Thank you Linker. Though I was not given a fine but the Ticket Inspector took my details and statement. I have not heard from them and pray never to hear from them.
