A hearty congratulations to you Linda21. Despite your worries spending 11 years and your said poor immigration history, The Lord favoured you with victory against all odds. Patience pays a beautiful price for freedom. Enjoy what's left of the summer and all the best with the future to you and your family.Linda21 wrote:Hi all.
Congratulations to those who have been granted. The others waiting dont give up just yet.
Finally after exactly 6 months I have been granted the visa. Heavy Weight of my shoulders know
Nearly giving up after so many years overstayed in this country let alone so much money down the drain with solicitors.
Thank you to all of you who encouraged me to be patient.
May God bless u all xx

I thought I would be writing this under different circumstances but I guess that is life for you. I had my JR oral hearing this week and my case was thrown out as basically the Judge thought there was hardly any merit to cut the long story short. I am not appealing the decision or putting in a new application as its a waste of money and time as there is NO chance for I have come to the realisation that it is GOD's will that I should not remain. He knows his reasons and I just have to trust him and follow what he has planned for me. Sometimes God closes some doors for your good as he has something better or a purpose for you and in time it shall be revealed to you.
I want to thank the very first person that helped me on this forum and that is Yummymummy to Verbina, sweetypie, Nilemarques, Hatchsead, Believe2013, Elastep, Crytal newbie, shondara sharma, malogo, seneca, God's authority, kukuwife, keisha, summer, spring 2014, this year, al haqq, winners and Daponslee who has been a rock.
Some of you have moved on and pray that all is well with you and you are enjoying your freedom and those still waiting I pray that you get granted so you can in turn enjoy the freedom.
I wanted to ask anyone on this forum who has been refused at an oral hearing or appeal hearing to please answer some questions for me.
How long does it take for the HO to send me out a letter asking me to leave?? Secondly is it the standard month notice?? Does capita harrass you constantly till you leave?? How many months can I get away with it?
I just need to start preparing myself but dont want to have the pressure of the amoebas on my case.
Thanks for the response dapsonlee, I believe cases are being judged based on its own merit. Was your friend married to a british or Eu citizen, what were his circumstances ? The other person whom i knew was detained applied based on 14 yrs stay in uk. I don't know if they have right to detain when they have not even sent us a decision on the pending FLR(fp) application and i don't understand why they sent back my wife's documents without us requesting, all seem strange to me. And the address where i have to go to attend the interview is the same place where i have been going fortnightly to report. Has anyone received any letter from the HO with the return address '' RCC TEAM 25, Sheffield '' ? that was the address where my wife's documents were sent from, i was wondering what is the meaning of the RCC. Below are the exact wordings on the interview letter which i received yesterday :dapsonlee wrote:icehouse256 wrote:Good Morning all. Finally i got a letter for interview, but surprisingly i am the only one being asked to attend an interview at croydon reporting centre, they say they want to update my change of circumstance to their record, i never informed them of any change of circumstance so i don't know where they got that from. Also, we never requested for any return of documents, but just last week they returned my wife's British passport, passport photograph and provisional license counterpart. I still have a penning application which we have not yet heard anything about it....I am thinking this interview is to detain me and i cannot do through all this limbo anymore not to talk of being held at a detention centre, so i think its time to voluntarily return home. Really fed up.[/quote
Good morning icehouse,
I do not want to compare cases as each case has it's own merit. A friend of mine was equally advised the same and he was in and out within 30mins. I want to believe that you have been conditioned to report fortnightly or monthly as advised reading from your previous posts. I don't believe home office will write a special letter to advice you to attend an interview (might be wrong) for them to then detain you. If they wish to detain you, this will be done when you actually go to report, without prior notification especially if you have been told to do so previously and refused, you will them be treated as a previous absconder (seen this too many times). But if it's your first time on reporting conditions, I suppose it's better to be prepared regardless when you do go there as this could go in your favour of release or theirs of being detained. I am praying that you will come back to share the interview experience with us. Amen.

Thanks kombwe, yes I am in contact with my solicitor. Please check your inbox dapsonlee.Kombwe wrote:Icehouse, the letter me maybe good news however, I think this forum is meant to give guide lines instead they are self made lawyers, who can give you the wrong advice . Sometimes I feel why would a blind man give another blind man directions. If you have a lawyer it's best to ask someone who is qualified. Good luck with the interview.

Congratulations seanp. To be hateful ain't good and to be bitter is worse. The only one you hurt is yourself. Despite all your ex partner did, you became victorious. God rewards the faithful. God bless you and enjoy what's left of summer with the lovely family. Congratulations once again.
Melisly wrote:Hi all, I have been reading this forum for years and thank everyone for sharing. I married EU national In 2008. Relationship broke down after 3,5 years. Got pregnant while briefly seeing someone who was BC. He went to jail for alleged rape. Only saw my daughter once. I have restraining order in place as him and his family became abusive. Am not yet divorced as eu national is not willing to provide any documents or his address after very bad breakup.
My residence card expires in oct 2014. I just sent application as sole parent and destitute as my house burned in October 2013. Lost every thing and in temporary accommodation with council waiting for permanent. I need your thoughts on possible outcome so I am prepared. I was self employed at the time of the fire and lost all my work. I have struggled for a while and just secured part time job in August. Started this month. I included in my application:
Nonmolestation order against my child's father
Child's passport
Proof of not having adequate accommodation
Job info
Bank statements
Letters from GP and nursery school
My degrees certificates
Etc...
Many thx for your thoughts
