Finding this a little hard to believe. 2 days from doing your bio you have had in the post your extension. English governmental departments dont work that fast even for millionaires.

u know i was just looking at his timeline and was just tinking the same thing thats 2 days apart from biometric enrolment.... :? :?

If you look further at the time line it is even harder to believe.

the bio was done on a saturday and they posted on monday. they dont work saturday and sunday so everything would have to have been done on the monday

My wife received all her documents back today along with a letter granting her further leave to remain. (on the basis that we have a British born child)

She now has to send of her application form for a Biometric Residence Permit and that will be that.

So all in all from her application in December 2011 it has taken 13 months for her to granted further leave to remain.

Yes my request to expedite my application was granted on the basis urgent travel on business for my employer

@justice. It didn't actually say on the letter what type of visa it is. Just that she has been granted further leave to remain. I'm assuming it's gonna be some kind if family residence permit (i'll have to look into it). For how long it will be vaild for I don't know. Good luck with your's.

Congratulations!!! I feel hopeless now it's been today 12 months of my acknowledge letter, it gives me hope knowing that they are releasing visas so I need to be a bit extra patient...

hi i just wanted to find out the requirements for 10 year partner route.
married to a british wife. am on tier 4. finished m course got my degree. working full time now. can i and my wife use both pay slips for 4 months. reason is i couldnt apply for flrm on the 5 year route thats why i want to apply for 10 year partner route. any help n ideas?? how long does it take to get biometrics letter

Briefly,A visiting overstayer got married to my british partner,we have a child.
submitted FLRO article 8 application based on family life.

Entering the 4th month of waiting for my biometric enrolment letter for my extension under article 8, cannot believe it takes this long just for a extension.
