So sorry for that outcome nikitpatel.....as others have said. .there are many on this forum who were refused but have successfully appealed. ....This is just the beginning. ..shed your tears and have a good cry....wipe them off...dust off the disappointment and start a new fight

My Case

Post by Khaldoon » Fri Aug 16, 2013 6:46 pm

Hi there,
A big congrats for those who granted their extension in this lovely forum and good lick for those who have not and I pray to god to give them the power to face the HO and to win their appeal,
Simply Id like to share my case as I applied for an extension for my DLR the been granted since Aug 2009, based on a family life in UK as I got british partner and British girl, and when I applied for extension I still with my partner and three British kids, I work and study in the same time, And just graduated from London South Bank University as a Petroleum engineer,
My Time Line:
Date of Application Submitted: 29th July 2012
Date of Ackn Letter: 4th August 2012
Date of Bio metric letter received: 16th Feb 2013
Date of Bio-metric done: 17th Feb 2013

Im asking you lovely members, do I have a strong case?
And should I here something soon from HO as I nearly compleated 13 months?

Thank you Daniel97,
I'm very depressed for waiting all that time, I got some nice offers from petroleum companies but I just can't either accept or refuse them as I'm stateless at the moment,
All the best for all of you.

Dude I am honestly scared as well! If these guys with wives, husbands and kids are being refused what hope is there for those of us without but the family we depend upon? Mehn my heart sinks but I know there is a God up there cos no matter how long the rain pours, the sun will surely find its way to shine once again :(

They take months of waiting, you might be looking at next year for a hearing that's how busy they are. Stay strong

Nikit Patel, I understand how upsetting it is but it's certainly not the end. Be strong buddy, you and your family will come through this. You have an appeal to win.

Welcome to the Newbies.

Congrats to this Forum for the splendid support you offer; you are truly fantastic and amazing.
