180 days calulation

Post by salonbalm » Sun Oct 14, 2012 6:06 pm

Dear All,

I am confused about 180 days calculation. I have spent 117 days outside the UK, but came into UK initially 69 days after visa stamp. Does this mean that I go over 180 days 117+69 = 186??

3 days out of this are official assignment out of country? IS it worth getting a letter from employer about this?

Could someone please advise?

Thanks in advance

If someone tells you otherwise, they are wrong.

Congratulations salonbalm. Is there any specific reason you submitted following documents or Cw asked for.
1.Letter from employer supporting payslips
2. Letter from employer confirming employment
3. 5 year p60

Thanks

Hi araif

The cw didnt ask for any specific docs. I submitted these as my salary for one month was paid by the parent company, so in order to clear a potential confusion i submitted these.

With regards to p60 i picked it up from this forum that its just a nice to have
