by getting your country passport you availed yourself to you country's protection and this is bad news!Saniii wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 1:32 pmHello just found out about this forum. I submitted my application on the 7th of November after completing 5 years along with my dependant who is my child. The only thing keeping me worried is that I had renewed my country of origins passport after a stupid case worker told me that it’s ok and as long as I don’t travel to my country of origin it’s fine. So I got it renewed and travelled to Dubai couple of times for a few days and as soon as I found out that I was not supposed to travel on my country of origins passport, I surrendered that to Home office and applied for a travel document, which I was given. Now it has been 2 and a half months since I submitted my application for ILR along with my son but I have been very anxious as to what would be the outcome of my application. I have been working, driving paying all my taxes and a law abiding citizen but still don’t know what my future would be. Plz help if anyone have anything relevant to share.
1-can you prove that you have been given a wrong advice by ur case worker? i.e., emails, letters etc
2-can you prove that you have NOT been to your country of origin on your passport? i.e., do you have a tourist visa to UAE endorsed on your country of origin passport? if you have not this will indicate that you may have only used dubai as transit passanger
3-could you explain, not for us obviously, how you re-entered through UK borders on your way back from dubai? did you only have your refugee Residency card and was it ok to produce that with your country of origin passport? this is a very interesting case!
