I just called the HO and they said that the national passport from which the applicant has been sought asylum from will not be returned until the applicant has become british and for any needed travel , a CTD can be obtained / renewed.1stGenMEBrit wrote: ↑Wed Mar 28, 2018 1:59 pmGreat forum wishing all the best luck for everyone waiting.
Posting on behalf of someone I know:
Main Applicant + Wife (Dependent)
Submitted 14th Nov 17
BRP Letter received 30th Nov Dated 27th Nov
Biometrics submitted 2nd Dec 2017
Emails received 26th Dec, Jan, Feb
Awarded letter received 26th March dated 20th March
Missed Postman delivery 27th March redelivering what is hoped to be the BRP's
Strange thing, they returned the expired CTD's .. Reading here, reapplying for a CTD is a possibility until nationalization / UKPP
National Passport is still with them and is still valid, I wonder if travel on it is allowed now the ILR has been issued?

I’m so happy...
Application sent 13 Dec 2017
Biometrics done 11 Jan 2018
Received emails on the 20th each month
Approval letter received 7th of April 2018
I guess my biometric card will come early next week since its weekend!
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting on their applications!!
Thank you all!!
If you dont have any purchases I think it’s from HO. If so, it would be a good new. Because with my experience, if you don’t have any criminal or serious problems you will have approval. Best of luck and don’t forget to share your good new. I applied on 10th January, just 5 days after you.feri_2017 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 8:53 pmHi everyone
Can someone please give me some hope,
I got a "Something for you" card today from Royal Mail, not sure what it is but it says it needs my signature, I was wondering if it is possible that I get something from HO now? I submitted my application 3rd January 2018
Does the approval letter need signature?
What if it is a rejection letter? How would that be? Does it need signature?
Thanks
