Hello Hassan21uk,
Cc to CR001,

I would like to thank you both for your responses. Hassan i think its a good idea to apply for Citizenship with the type of letter you mentioned, i will do that for sure.CR001 regarding the letter do you think there is way that hassan can forward the 2 pages letter to me ? if yes could you please instruct us on how to do (because as hassan said is a really important application in my life), and also you mentioned that good charecter rule apply for all application regardless of when their leave to remain was issued, However is this also apply for people who have an offence of (entering the UK without a valid passport-illegal entry), But been granted refugee status after their asylum interview . Please note: I present myself to the UK border agency and claimed asylum as soon as I arrived to airport, but unfortunately I didn't have a valid passport with me so i was charged of entering the UK without a valid passport, after that I been sent to court and imprisonment for three months (Interestingly I was granted refugee status while in prison ) , PLease CR001 AND HASSAN 21UK , I would like to ask you boths opinion about how will this effect my application for UK citizenship. will i still have to waite 10 years to apply for UK citizenship?

thank you very much again
I found a solution. I uploaded the letter onto a public domain (wetransfer). This way we would not be giving away any phone numbers or email addresses, nor any way of personal contact. The admin is more than welcome to click the link and download the documents to check.

use this wetransfer link to preview/download the documents:

Weblink removed due to personal identifiable details NOT being blacked out in the upload

Where is the personal identifiable details?? I don't understand why there is an issue even after uploading the documents on a worlwide known and trusted platform (wetransfer). The only details present in the document are that of the MP which are already publicly available.

Hello majidy86
1.Did you mean your wife is a dependent on your refugee leave to remain ?
if yes then you ll just use the same form for yourself and your wife ( just add where is asks do you have any dependents which were part of your original application for refugee leave to remain)
2.or she has got leave in different category ?
if yes then she wont be able to apply set p rather she ll have to follow her own category rules towards ILR.

i hope this helps :)

Wish you great luck for your application.

I applied my Ilr set p application on 02-01-2019 and got my acknowledgement email the very following day but since that email i haven’t heard from home office. No Monthly update emails yet.

I was wondering if anyone applied ilr in past 2 months and got ilr as a reply or any monthly update emails.

I am very nervous if that’s something normal or not.

Can someone please help me out in this situation.

No need to worry if your reason still valid and no criminal record, NHS clear, and no immigration issue like you have not obtain country passport

Sometimes caseworker very busy and DNt bother to reply

Time scale based on your application, country of origin and nature of case.

If you apply individual, country situation same as time of asylum, and your case is simple you will get positive reply.

I read almost every post of this section found only few refusals mainly they apply 3 months early or maybe convicted or travel back home or obtain passport.

Keep update forum it’s helpful for other users

I never obtained the country passport, no convictions at all and country situation is still the same in my case and i applied just myself, no dependents. I am high income earners and use to pay big taxes.

The problem is i am contracter and to renew my contract i must have a valid visa and i am struggling right now with no email or reply as it’s been 2 months today.

Very nervous and also worried as it’s a big loss for my career if I won’t be able to renew my contract or won’t be able to travel as i use to travel alot and my travel documents were full with stamps.
Right now i am struggling big time.

dear friends

I used the new service and i never sent my old travel documents or BRP card to home office. Coz when I completed the application online, it asked me to book an appointment with BLS in croydon and i went there, they took tge scan of all my documents as well as my biometrics, and returned all my documents,

Is this the right procedure, I mean so I don’t have to send actual documents anymore??

That is right procedure. When did you do your finger prints? And did you apply 28 days before or more than this? I applied in February and after finger prints received first email saying application is under consideration & would be decided within 6 months or we would let you know if it has to take longer. These days HO is deciding straight asylum applications in 3 months and complex ones take longer than this.Anyone who applied in January or December and have received decision?
Goodluck.

London 22 you applied in February and already got
2 Monthly status emails, I haven’t heard from them since the automated application received email where they mentioned only case ref number and acknowledgement of application.

Bit worried 😟 now,

I dont think you need to worry.Worrying comes when application remains undecided and 6 months passed.Sending or not regular emails have nothing to worry about.HO is deciding straighforward applications in 3 to 4 months.Goodluck

Hi all,

I have a question, how many emails are usually expected from HO upon application submunition?

So I applied online on 28th Feb, and received acknowledgment email from HO, I then did my finger prints, scan TD, submitted all my documents with the help of lady and etc at Croydon center on the following Monday 4th of March, and haven’t received any emails since. Is it normal? Or should I be receiving another acknowledgment email from HO?

If you could help, I will be grateful.

Thank you in advance

Nmas it was the same case with me. Exactly the same. Only one acknowledgement email once I submitted online and nothing after.
