Hi guys hope every one is well
Firstly
Congratulations to all who have received ILR
And bless yall for helping each other out its beautiful
I jus wanted to update you guys after i have applied
5 years limited leave expiry: 16/04/2019
Applied online for SET(P) ILR: 21/03/2019
Documents submit by post : 21/03/2019
Biometric done: 21/03/2019
Acknowledgement email: 22/03/2019
Status progress emails: - ——
Approval letter: ——
BRP received: ——

Looking at other people time scales it felt like almost every other person got a status email exactly one month after applying but i am still waiting
May be i didn't get it because i used a immigration advisor( keeping in mind i did get the first email though)

Also i was reading some old post and came across that 2012-2013 some people applied for citizenship straight after ilr and that its on ho discretion to allow or refuse but some people did got it approved is it correct?

it could be because the day that you expect the acknowledgment email falls on a bank holiday .April 22 which is your expected day to receive the email was a bank holiday.i am also in the same boat as you , i applied on January 20 2019 , i received acknowledgment monthly emails monthly from then on but i didn't receive on the 20th April as i expected .it also could mean that they have made a decision on your application and a letter is in the post waiting to be delivered . it could also be because you applied through an immigration adviser ...who knows?

urgent help needed,
for my Aunt her refugee status will expire on 15th may 2019 and applied online set (p) on 21th april 2019 they advised to book biometric appointment with UKVAC which is only available appointment was at Manchester 20th may 2019

now got this email from Home office
"Following your recent Settlement application you will have received a biometric notification letter with instructions for providing your biometric data (scanned fingerprints and photograph). It informed you that you had 15 working days from the date on that letter to have your biometrics taken.

If you have already provided us with your biometric data for this current application, please ignore this email notification.

If you have not yet provided us with your biometric data, please now take the original letter we sent you with your barcode to a participating Post Office Ltd branch to have your biometrics taken. The addresses of these Post Office Ltd branches can be found at www.postoffice.co.uk. You do not need to book an appointment. You can visit a participating Post Office Ltd branch and wait to be served. Please note that there may be a queue for this service"

whats going on how can this be done at post office? and no letter got it from home office with barcode?

Calm down. It is an autogenerated email. Just attend the biometrics appointment on 20th as normal.

i didnt receive the monthly 'consideration email' last month of april 20 .i suppose a decision must have been made on my application. i have been waiting eagerly for further information on what the outcome is but no information yet.its been over 2 weeks !
does anyone have similar experience ?i suppose that 2 weeks should be enough time to receive any outcome to the decision .
if the wait is longer could it mean that my application has been successful and a BRP card is in the process of being produced hence the delay .im just anxious ...

On same boat have not received email on 4th of May there will be two options

1- due to Saturday
2- decided and BPR and letter on the way

What you think 🤔

I think both options are valid.

1 due to Saturday - if true you will get the email the next working day, i.e. Tuesday 7 May. {We got last progress email on 8th April due on 7th because 7th April was Sunday...}
2 decided and BPR and letter on the way - likely too.

Here is my current application case:

Leave to Remain ends: 28 April 2019
I am supposed to apply: 28 March 2019
I applied online: 21 January 2019
HO ack letter: 22 January 2019
Biometrics taken: 31 January 2019

I am currently waiting for news. Also, as you can see, I applied 2 months before the date I am supposed to apply on, but I provided reasons as to why they should allow it (I have friends who did exactly the same and still got their ILR approved before their Leave to Remain even expired, that's the dream haha).

Some extra information: I am Lebanese, and so were my friends who applied early. from the hundreds of pages on here I saw people mention that different nationalities are treated differently due to the relations between the nations, the current events happening, and maybe even the embassy's speed of cooperation (if that's a thing).

So I'll keep you posted to see if nationality does in fact play a role or not.
Hi Hassan,

Did you have any news about your application status please?

Thanks,
Hi Ahmad,

Basically, my mother that has exactly the same case got her residency on the 22nd of March (2 months after applying, and she also applied 2 months early same as me). However, the only news-worthy thing for my case is that I got two progress emails on the 21st of February, 21st of March,
and then no progress email on the 21st of April, and I am still waiting. I thought that when they don't send the progress email that a decision has been made, but still I haven't received any letters.

Anyone has any idea regarding the missing progress email? I have scavenged about 20 pages on this forum and found that a decision is usually made within 10 days on average after a progress email is not sent by the home office.

So far it has been 18 days (almost 3 weeks) since I haven't received a progress email, so it's getting kind of weird that I didn't get a letter. I wonder if they'll even send me anything when its time for my 4th progress email.

There is a common denominator between us three. We all applied too early... I hope that isn't the reason why this is happening

I doubt it. My mom applied on the 10th of January when she should have applied on the 10th of March. (her leave expires on the 10th of April). She got her ILR approval letter on the 20th of March, so she actually got her residency 2 weeks even before her old leave expired.

Our application could maybe still be under consideration, 20th to 22nd April were Easter holidays, perhaps an email just wasn't sent..

Yeah that's what all my friends who applied are saying. The weird thing is my mom and I share the exact same case, so it's baffling how she gets an approval letter in 2 months and 1 week.. and I am almost 3 months and 2 weeks in.

If it was an unsuccessful application, we should have received information by now if applications have been considered. Its either Brp is the process of being produced or applications are still in consideration and they just didn't send considerion email. We can only wait

Thanks for the updates guys I applied on 21st of march . I got the acknowledgement email the very next day but I never received any progress email.
I did apply through immigration advisor ... if the case with not getting status email was the case has been decided it will be amazing that that's been done under a month.... it may be possible who knows. but I am still waiting .
also possibility immigration advisor is getting the emails ... but then again I did receive the acknowledge meant email my self ... so I think I am just gonna have to wait it out ... any suggestions are welcome .
