Give whatever name is printed on your current BRP. That's the only thing matters. Your full name on SET P application should be what you had on your BRP / Travel DocumentSaeed5 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 12:03 pmI hope hear soon
.....
I want ask if any one help I would like to fill application for SET P . There are question ( have you ever been known by any other names ...et?)
So when I come to UK on screen interview I gave my name (first - last name) all post at that time I received by this name ,after a-few months on the MAIN interview I edit my name and add other name as my last name became middle name.
My question In this case need to mention that change or not as that change happened without take any steps. Just on main interview.
Thanks

if you explain to them that you have same rights under section 3c immigration act 1971 and provide them link then you wont be jobless, if they still don't accept it then they are not following law and you can take legal action and i think its got nothing to do with corona virus because that's not their department. i hope you hear some good news soon, i will apply my ILR tomorrow hope we all get positive decision soon.
You can't sue a company for not employing you. They reserve the right to choose who to employ and not take any risks and incurr huge fines.bhatti007 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 8:12 pmif you explain to them that you have same rights under section 3c immigration act 1971 and provide them link then you wont be jobless, if they still don't accept it then they are not following law and you can take legal action and i think its got nothing to do with corona virus because that's not their department. i hope you hear some good news soon, i will apply my ILR tomorrow hope we all get positive decision soon.

i know but its different story when you already working for company and they ask you to provide a new evidence of work right and you cant as you applied for a leave and they don't accept section 3c immigration act 1971. and they fire you, that what i am talking aboutCR001 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 8:15 pmYou can't sue a company for not employing you. So I quit my previous job 2 months before my leave expired...so I m trying to apply for a new one...but the thing is it looks like they r a bit reluctant to hire me because of my status....atleast that's what I assume since I don't get past the point of telling them about my current leave situation.....bhatti007 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 8:12 pmif you explain to them that you have same rights under section 3c immigration act 1971 and provide them link then you wont be jobless, if they still don't accept it then they are not following law and you can take legal action and i think its got nothing to do with corona virus because that's not their department. i hope you hear some good news soon, i will apply my ILR tomorrow hope we all get positive decision soon.

So when I say coronavirus might delay the processing times...I meant if the workers go on medical leave or if there is disruptions.....that ll delay the whole thing.....but yeah who knows......
Yea...I applied on 10-1-20(leave expired 16-2-20)
Did biometric on 16-1-20
No further updates after that.

about corona virus maybe one of them went to china on a holiday and return with virus and infected everyone and they ended up shutting the whole department until they find a cure which could take unlimited time(sarcasm overload)

Just your biometric resident permit and travel document...and yeah ur country passport if you still have it on you....
No need for payslips or anyother documents...
Application is pretty straight forward....you could fill it yourself and book an appoint for biometric online....
Use a solicitor if there is any complications in your application ....as in anything changed since u were granted leave...
Hi guys,
I am applying next week for ILR, and I need some help regarding changes in home country. Did change of government may impact on an application while system of the country still pretty the same? Do I need a solicitor as @jesse8 suggested for any change? Thanks for taking time to respond to my query.
I think I will also get a legal advice on this. I will keep you guys updated.

I have submitted my application and the available dates for biometric appointments are after my current leave expires, it's that alright to book one anyway?
Also is the application start to be processed after the biometrics have been submitted?
Thanks in advance to anyone who will take her/his time to respond to my query.
At the end of the application it actually tells you until when you have to give in your biometric and upload documents...mine was 2 months after I submitted...Hermand wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 1:35 amHi guys,Hermand wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 7:33 pmThanks London22 for reply to my query,London22 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 9:00 amIf your asylum was political directly because of the govt then with its changing it may affect your continuity of protection. But if it wasnt because of govt then its changing doesnt have any impact on your asylum.Hermand wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 12:03 am
