Hope we are all receive a good news soon too. The process is very slow and frustrating for all of us.
Could I please check with you that what does it say in the approval email and who is the sender? Also could you please share with us the info around what documents did you submit with your application?

It says in the approval email "Your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK has been successful. What happens next etc..."
Documents submitted (scan copies):
1) UK Travel Documents
2) BRP's
3) Last expired original nationality passports
4) Change of Name Deed Poll (as I've changed my name with this application)
4) Marriage certificate
5) Singed consent
That's it.

To be honest not that long ago! I submitted my application on the 4th August and biometrics on the 7th September. I am just getting really anxious!

That's too early, no need to be worried. Some people in this group including me have been waiting more than 6 months.
I submitted my application on 18th April 2020 and biometrics on 9th July, still waiting. Yeah true they don't have any timeframe for SET (P) applications. It's because it has different criteria and they have to look into different elements like save country, criminal records etc.refugee345 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 1:26 pmHi Maaz786,Maaz786 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:10 pmHi Refugee 345refugee345 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 11:47 amHi Maaz,

So when did you submit your application and the biometrics information? I find it annoying that for all the other ILR route applications the waiting timeframe is 8 weeks (about two months) but for SET(p) there are no clear timelines!
Kind regards

Sometimes it also depends on the caseworker, If the caseworker is lazy or careless and find any error in the application, he/she would put it on a side and continue with another application God know when they return back to it.

I applied in end if May and biometric f2f on 20th July but still waiting , I see Set (M) and (O) got decision within a weeks .
So Set (p) take longer but I believe now they started in May application decision.
Maaz you’re nearly 6 months I think soon you should contact them.

Hi hope you got advice here
I gave reference of this forum on Facebook
Do you have dependent ?
Or where from you are?
Really frustrating time of waiting of decision
The letter should be something like this (please check the highlighted areas and revise where necessary;
[Home Office address (in full)] [Your address (in full)]
Date: [insert]
Home Office Reference: [insert]
Recorded delivery reference: [insert]
Dear Sir/Madam,
[Your name, date of birth and nationality]
[Name, date of birth and nationality of each dependant]
[Write Home Office reference again]
I made an application for Settlement Protection Route - Indefinite Leave to Remain on [insert date]. I submitted the application on 4th July 2020 and submitted my biometrics information on 18th August 2020.
However, I have not yet received a decision in my case/my family’s case. I would be grateful if this application could be considered as soon as possible.
I am waiting to sign the tenancy agreement with my housing association (insert the name of the association) and they need to see the proof of residency prior to signing any such agreement.
I am afraid that I will be made homeless, if I am unable to provide any proof. I see your guidance and support in this matter.
With this letter I attach the copy of my existing expired tenancy agreement and a copy of the letter demanding the need to sign a new tenancy agreement, including the requirements for proof of residency.
Yours faithfully,

I disagree as I don’t claim any benefits since 4 years I’m working and I pay tax up to £600/month. I’ve applied for ILR set P on 1st of April 2020 and still waiting for my decision.
A refugee is allowed to claim benefits ,hence claiming benefits hasnt got anything for HO to refuse or delay an application. It is always said by some lawyers & migrants that claiming benefits has wrong impact on immigration history ,I dont think it is any true as if someone is allowed to get benefits they should get benefits as it is very hard to survive without job specially for families .Paying tax isnt a key to get a positive decision while it totally depends what category the application is on. Benefits system itself is broken & most people abuse it & most of them are born here who abuse it cause they take it for granted.
