Crocs and Pabloesc,
Many many congs on your newly achieved freedom. I am sandwiched between your submission dates (20th Jan). I hope it's not something I should worry about that I haven't heard anything back yet. I can't help but worry a tiny bit though!!!

Hi guys,
I've heard that HO will not longer accept ILR applications for those on refugee 5 years visa and instead extend DLR for another 5 years. Is that correct?

Can't be right. Checked HO website but nothing is mentioned. However applicants who do not meet the character requirements e.g if someone has criminal record, they just get extension but not ilr.

I doubt this is true as it has not appeared on the
www.gov.uk website

Urgent Advice
I am applying on 22 May 2015 for Set P and there is a section in front page as this 7
DUTY TO STATE ALL REASONS TO REMAIN IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
All your reasons or grounds for wishing to stay in the United Kingdom must be
stated in this application. This requirement is being given under section 120 of
the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002. If you do not tell us now of any
reasons or grounds for remaining in the United Kingdom and you tell us later without
good reason, you will lose any right of appeal you may have otherwise qualified for if
we refuse your claim
Please advise what to state here. All reasons when i claimed asylum or is there anyone who applied on this form.
waiting for your response
Thanks,
Waiting 2015

Unfortunately most of us didn't use this form to apply for ILR. This is a new SET (P) form that was introduced recently in April and I believe the best way to answer that question is to explain what you've been doing in UK since you was issued with LLR and give reasons why you feel you should be given ILR. Reasons like family life, friends, job, education and set out why you feel your life is still under threat if you returned to your country.
