Tier 1 (General) Dependant - Main applicant documents

Post by IWASEEM » Wed May 23, 2012 4:29 pm

Dear People,

Just a simple query if someone is able to help me with.

I'm on Tier 1 General and my wife will be applying for her dependant visa in July 2012.

I will be sending her all the relevant documents including photo copies of both my passports (old and current).

VFS in Hyderabad has advised my wife that my passport photo copies should be attested. So, just wondering if it is mandatory? If it is then, would Indian Consulate in UK does that (the website doesn't clearly state that) or can just be self attested by me?

I would much appreciate if someone can advise.

Many thanks.

Regards
